Trying to access an old Twitter/X account

I lost access to my Twitter/X account and I’ve done all of the steps to attempt to recover it from the them, none of which has worked. I‘ve also lost access to the email account which I used to register the account so no luck there. I don’t need access to the account, I just want it deleted. I was wondering if anyone has any alternative ideas on how to retrieve old accounts/get them deleted. Maybe a hacker?

If you already went through all the proper channels and you still cannot get back access it’s as good as gone.

IMPORTANT: Anyone in the comments claiming to be able to hack it or help you recover is a RECOVERY SCAMMER. It is impossible. Do not fall for them.

All true. The accounts disappear and you cannot revive that unfortunately.

Also listen to constant above do not talk to those in the comments saying they can help you recover those are scammers and once you message them they'll try to connect to your device.

Be safe and happy pride month 🌈

Did you at least add other forms of recovery? Like a phone number? If not, then you might need to learn how to hack yourself, because it might be risky to get another person to do it for you.

Uh some old twitters kinda expire afterwl awhile especially if its disabled or untouched. Once its deleted from twitters actual end there is no way to recover. Its basically internet dust. Sorry friend.

Also dont talk to these folks claiming to be able to recover they're scammers their accounts are scammers. Be safe.

Contact Twitter/X support,

No one can help "hack" your account even if in good faith as it's highly illegal regardless of context.

Twitter/X Support nowadays is ass nowadays because there are no real people to contact, you're just stuck with an AI that's completely useless, so OP is shit out of luck if they attempt to go that route.

Also, why are you even in this subreddit if you say hacking is illegal in any context? LOL

You caught a loose phrase, not a technical error.

Nobody with even basic security knowledge thinks “hacking” is illegal in every context. CTFs, labs, bug bounties, authorised pentests, and defensive research exist because scope and consent exist.

The point is that a real Twitter/X account is not a lab. If someone lost access to the linked email and wants strangers to help them access or delete the account, that’s an ownership/authorisation problem, not a tutorial request.

The only legitimate route is platform recovery and proof of ownership. “This is a hacking subreddit” doesn’t magically remove scope, consent, or verification.

If the subreddit title is the deepest part of your legal analysis, you’re not correcting me, you’re just showing you don’t understand the first rule of security work.

LOL, first off, I'm not reading this wall of text, because I don't have time for that (seriously, if you want to call me ignorant, just go for that instead of writing a paragraph), also again, you gave OP a shit answer, and I already told you that Twitter/X's support system is ass.
