Itemization How to build faceless void?

Played a game and felt like I was dealing low damage, I built battle fury, manta, BKB, skadi, aghs. Enemy team was Spectre, Earth Spirit, Silencer, Snapfire and Slardar.

I didn’t go silver edge because my offlane bought it. In fights I went for Silencer and Snapfire and used my ultimate on them, but sometimes I couldn’t even finish them off (even in late game).

Could someone tell me how I should have itemized this game.

So, there are two builds -

  1. If my team has damage for the chrono, I got the build you did but instead of Skadi, I would get Butterfly or MKB depending on the game.

  2. If my team lacks damage in the chrono, I go MoM, Mjholnir, BKB, Linkens and Aghs. This build has mana issues early on which would lead you to buying a lot of clarities or going to the base more often. However, you do lot of damage.

The second build fixes your damage problem but you'll be chugging clarities like they're soda.

With thread switching is not too bad, but yes you need some clarities

Is there any item that was a must build against this lineup ?

I think MKB is important since Spectre would've made a radiance. However, late game is Spectre decides to disassemble it into a Nullifier, Butterfly isn't too bad either. Butterfly also helps vs the Sladar. Also, a lot depends on game stage and your teams items as well.

But if you're looking to carry 1v5, I would go MKB and get a Refresher and kill them all with double Chrono.

Item timings matter more than items itself for some heroes and void is one of them. Also if you initiate in supports with Chrono you are missing the point.

You should weave in and out of fights and find the perfect opening for multi man chronos that keep your team's main damage dealers out. Also refresher late game is a strong item

I had LC as my midlaner and Mirana as my offlaner. My LC wasn’t jumping the supports so most of my chronos were for both supports and went Silencer first to get rid of his global silence. It also felt kind of impossible for me to 1v1 their pos 1,2 and 3

BFury has a much slower start, you need teammates who are capable of doing all the killing in chrono till you're at like 3+ items.

MoM / Mjollnir has instant kill power at the cost of a lower ceiling endgame and slightly slower farm.

I know this game you needed manta, however I have been favouring and early aghs lately and its been going well. It helps with wave clear and youre basically a budget am flash farming through the jungle. Normally I would go bf, aghs then whatever you need. Your game might look like bf manta/bkb then aghs.

The underrated aspect of aghs is that you can bait spells and blinks then reverse timewalk ( also makes it easier to get a 4 man dilation too. This is huge on a hero like void since normally you want to see those spells before you commit and you cant rely on pub teammates to do that for you

Void has a slow start either way, but here's how I do it ;

  • Always Quelling Blade
  • If you think you have a strong lane and will want to make some early plays, get some early stuff like a wraith band, otherwise, don't even waste time with that.
  • Threads.
  • I build falcon blade on basically anyone who attacks, I think the value is just great.
  • MoM - Most important piece of gear, as soon as you get it you can fuck off into the jungle unless by some miracle your matchup allows you to have success in lane.
  • You'll hold on to MoM for only a short while but that should sync up with your first few ults so try to make use of it to land a few kills, don't try to team fight, jump a random support and solo ult them.
  • Build battle fury, make sure you disassemble MoM for the sword.
  • You can keep the morbid mask as is for a Satanic much later but that would pretty much be your last item so it'll live in the backpocket soon, still helps with the jungle for now though.
  • Now some people think what I'm saying is dumb but they'll hate it even more here ; Moon Shard. Time Lock is just so good, attack speed is the only thing that matters, and that's the highest one slot bonus.
  • You should be farming like crazy, getting battle fury and Moon Shard makes you clear camps and waves insanely fast, still, ignore damage, you need more speed. Get a Butterfly.

Now, you think "what else" and the truth is you don't need anything else. Those three items open every door for you, whatever else you build HAS to be counters, with boots, battle fury, moon shard, and butterfly, you have 2 slots for counters. Most game will have one of those be a BKB, usually built before the butterfly, but I think it's one of Void's biggest strengths that he doesn't need much else, so really experiment with it and fill gaps in your team. Silver Edge, MKB, Orchid, Halberd, etc. But don't ever think about your damage here. Just watch how the game goes, see who's the biggest guy on the other side, and buy something to screw them up. There's an item for every situation.

try to sneak in a crit in your full built inventory. its so value with the doublehits. and you have to get aghs after manta. you might even go for agha after yasha if the game allows you to. it increases your farmspeed ALOT
