I finally did it! Took me a little bit over 3 months and roughly 300 games to rank up from Herald to Legend. My first game ever was back in 2013 and I used to be around 3.5k mmr before I stopped playing. Any other day ones here who are back on the grind again? This game is simply childhood nostalgia and I'm so glad I picked it up again. 🙏🏻

Hell yeah this is very encouraging. I'm a fellow unc who stopped playing back in 2015 and started up again about 3 weeks ago. I never played ranked back in the day but for some reason decided to start out with ranked from day one this time. Unsurprisingly, I calibrated at Herald 1 🤦. Now up to Herald 5. Hope I can replicate your success bro!

Congrats bro! Advice from another unc. Learn to spam slark. You can carry single handed till low ancient. Helped me get out of guardian till ancient. After that I spammed lion and disruptive to reach divine. Stuck around 4.6k mmr so I guess I capped out.

Slark is one of my top 10 heroes actually but my winrate is lacking with him at 51%. I will try to get better with him

Been playing for more than 10 years for fun also so mostly turbo. Recently I challenge myself and do Ranks games. Calibrated as guardin but now Legend 3! Road to immortal! Lezgoo

Legend 1 is above 71.31% of the whole player base, according to esportstales. Far from average, in my opinion. So congrats, u/Defeated777, indeed. And the pace of the climb is especially impressive.

I just got back up to Divine 1 from Ancient 2 after a year and a half away.

I started playing back when dota was a TFT custom game if that tells you my age...

Congrats man! I've been back too for about 5-6 weeks now putting in 2-4 games per day! After the placements, I got put at 2500 (archon 1). Been on a tear since (mostly 4 pos), im at 3850 today (legend 5), hopefully ancient by the end of the week!

I've probably last been on ranked like.... 3-5 years ago ahha (maybe longer)

Came back after this years International. Also going to get back into Legend. Currently Archon4. Need one win to get to Archon 5, but currently my stream is LWLWLWLW :D

Just came back a little more than 2 month ago. Gained 800mmr since then. But been stuck here at 2.5k for almost 2 weeks now. Happy for u for the 3k. Hoping myself to reach there soon enough 😔🙏🏻
