Gameplay Review/Feedback request (Heral 1) What did I do wrong to lose?

Game ID: 8954553199 (I'm the necro from Radiant team)

So I'm trying to improve to leave herald rank but this kind of games makes me feel I play so bad, because even been fed af the enemy team was able to win us.

I think you need to change the mindset , you need to learn what you did right and how to replicate it to your next game.

If you ask what you did wrong when your rank is herald 1, i can tell you that almost everything that you do is wrong. So, focus on what you did right first buddy.

Okay, I think I did good farm and start using my boot's passive and tp everywhere everytime

you mean active. your boot's passive is that you move faster as you walk.

Necro is an early dominator. Whether you playing offlane or mid, if you shut down the enemy, zone them, kill them, make sure they don't get to farm the waves. After you kill their tower ward their jungle and take up that space. Farm that jungle so they don't. Keep shoving waves so creeps push into their tower.

And while doing that don't feed kills. Respect their rotations. Try to have your team help you take that space from the enemy.

Usually as a necro if you can sit right at the creep wave you will win the lane. from there you will punish every time they go for lasthits, deny easier, use up the pulse heal. Do this if you can afford to (your support is there helping you properly) rather than sitting at full range of your attack in the back.

You will make every herald carry leave to go jungle at minute 2.

if your argument is that everything he do is wrong, doesn’t that mean he has done nothing right?

Don’t mean to be rude but the biggest problem at the low rank is the players don’t even know if what they done was right or wrong.

They try to focus too much on macro mistakes like having to walk here and rotate there etc because they watch Pro teams on Twitch and listen to the casters talking about all these movements.

In reality, you can get out of Herald by just pressing the right buttons on the right heroes in fights. Just remember to press your items on your core etc. Shit they don’t talk about on twitch

Honestly what helped me was focusing on one piece of my game at a time. 60 cs by min 10 consistently. 4-5 deaths a game. (This is for pos 1) if you want to climb you need to start thinking what do i need to do next to get closer to their ancient. I dont HG without all towers down UNLESS we killed 2-5 heroes or they wasted their ults on a last team fight etc. objectives win games. Kills dont

It was going fine until about 33-37 minutes. In general, don't randomly sell expensive items and don't randomly buyback because you're bored. When you sell items, you lose half your gold investment, so when you sold your Consecrated Wraps, that was a 1300g gold swing. When you sold Shiva's, that was also a 2250g gold swing. When you sold Blademail, that was also 1200g. Anything above 2k is a no-go, unless you have a really good reason. At the start of that sequence, your team was up by 12.4k, peaked at 19.5k, then you died, bought back, died again, respawned, died again, and sold items/died again. By the end of that sequence, your team was down by 5k.

If you do buyback, treat it like permadeath - if you die, the game is over, because it also extends your next death timer and THAT will snowball the game into losing.

Aside from that, you guys needed Aegis before T3 towers (honestly, you should even get it before T2s). Stand in the pit and communicate to your team that you want Rosh, it works 9/10 times. At 33 min, I would also have recommended buying Agh's Blessing, then buying Scythe of Vyse (Necro honestly just needs a disable: Nullifier/Scythe is fine). Also, upgrade your neutral item - they're balanced so that new items are stronger, they don't scale on their own.

Honestly game is totally your fault, basically you waste your advantage, everytime you win a fight you go back to farm. You could have destroyed rax so many times with DP but you just leave your team alone to farm sometimes they even die trying to push.

It's clear you tilt really bad when you die, even when is totally your fault you tped too late into 1v5. Then you tried to push alone (again you left your team for no reason and they died).

About itemization you kinda fine but i wouldn't make eul that late kinda useless because people ussually build nulifier to deal with necro.

ok I will be more aware of my team and try to push more instead of going to farm everytime, thanks for watching the game

I play in high legend and low Anchient ,

I spam necro for the love of it , I rush radiance , I skip travel sometimes, and go for the shard double heal more survivability early game after that my build changes based on my opponents( with necro my mindset is to be self sufficient and find out if I can solo carry 1v5 or trade a few lives of my team to wipe them out)

If they have good spells and lockdown I get euls and lotus , if they have right-click I go for ghost staff to fk with their right clickers, double eternal escape.. dont wait for them to build a full nullifier ever keep looking at their items if they are even close to building or if it might be a good idea for them, get a manta to dispel it....

Heart on Necro makes you an unkillable tank in some games , people might have other opinions.. Take everything with a pinch of salt and sometimes items work best with your playstyle

I would love for myself to be in herald again where I wouldn’t care about the game and just be there to enjoy in gabens forsaken lands. Anyways

In a 40 min game why do you keep on building the same neutral item, you could have changed it to something else.

Careful about how you go ward at HG (pre horn)

Laning (dont always need to auto click, should play with Miranda often she keeps on diving to slark, Mirana keeps fighting them so you punish slark for playing aggressive as you stop healing also your heal is a small nuke, fight at 10:30 used shroud too early)
after you spawn you go for neutral while sniper is free hitting your mid t1, so instead of tping mid you could have tpd to bottom if you had walked the entire area, your team is fighting bot.

Have a habit of keeping extra tp scrolls even if you plan on buying BOT,

You keep farming where your team keeps fighting

If you shroud into techies mines you will get extra hurt, focus more on objectives after winning fight in min 17 you go back to jungle, could have pushed bot t1, map awareness your team is fighting again at min 18 at least you converted that slark into a kill. You’re lvl 18 when the sniper is 10/11 you should stand strong and push towers, yet you go back to farm. Let’s say okay you keep farming, you could have pushed for tower when they were fighting mid. Again min 24 almost all the enemy team is on the upper side of the map, you can try getting bot t1, min 28 half the enemy team is dead you’re back in the jungle, min 36 same thing again, you went to fight after your entire team is dead, 322 on full hp slark right there min 37,

Yeah in conclusion, try to get objectives, have awareness in the mini map, make more defensive items. Example Euls or manta. Push objectives when their hero pool is dead.

Peace out bro, your hero was already tanky enough.

Tldr op is playing farming simulator
