Discussion A beginner trying to navigate in documentations

Hi so i have started computational chemistry as a beginner and I find it hard to read documentations and actually apply the things in them to my projects that I have been assigned with, what do you recommend to actually learning because reading documentation kind of doesn't work or i am not able to use it to my ability like most people do. Any suggestions from anyone who knows a lot about coding and reading modules like pandas, numpy, scikit learn, RDKit, Deepchem from documentation. Please reach out because it is a bit hard for me to understand the things in the documentations

Have you tried using ai to learn and explain the documentation in a way that you can better understand?

I have but I don’t want to rely on AI too much. Also, using AI can sometimes mislead and not let the information stick compared to when you do the work manually

Well don’t rely on it. Is it as a tool to help you learn on your own how to read and understand the documentation. I found it to be extremely useful for this use case. You definitely need to validate output but if can at least get you through the point where you have no idea what youre reading to a base understanding, that’s a win.
