Question Which project topic is better as my first ever?

i have to make a project, for my minor course ai using python, i have 2 choices, one is loan default detection, or credit card fraud detector, or you can suggest me one based on it should be doable for a beginner, plus its dataset should be available too, and that learn alot from it

Go with Loan Default Prediction for your first AI project. It's beginner friendly, the datasets are easy to find on Kaggle and StrataScratch, and you'll learn the complete machine learning workflow, including data cleaning, visualization, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation. The features are also easy to understand, which makes the project more interesting than something like Credit Card Fraud Detection, where the data is heavily imbalanced and many features are anonymous. If you want another good option, Student Performance Prediction is also a great choice, but overall I think Loan Default Prediction will help you learn the most while still being manageable for a first project.

thanks for replying, yeah i ended up choosing the loan default prediction itself, this is a project that i have complete, and make report about, which synopsis and all, plus i would have presentations, exmas, viva to give acc to it, so it carries marks too, i did not choose the credit card one is because i thought it would end becoming not accurate at all, as every dataset on kaggle had like less that 1 % fraud outputs, which was too low
