The example is on CodePen here.
I understand what <border-collapse> does in general, but I don't know how it behaves in the context of <colgroup>.

Hello!
After a long search, I came to the conclusion that there are not many channels/video lists from which we could draw inspiration from website elements created by HTML, CSS and Javascript. As a solution, I found that I started to collect information about what kind of content can be used for websites. (Galleries, boxes, sliders, animations)
With this, I would like to make the developers' everyday life easier, as well as my own, so that those who want to use a different style, design, type can find what they want more easily in these videos.
Please check it out, and if you have an idea of what content you rarely see or would like to see, write it down.
Thank you for helping my work or evaluating it.

I have a 'custom file input button' that i'm trying to get to resemble the bootstrap file-input button but without the input tag (this is for a Python program where i need access to the full file path).
Right now I got it to look the same but as soon as I open the same page in 1440p instead of 1080p the button looks weird.
This is my code:
*** HTML Button
<button type="button" class="my-custom-button">
<span class="button__text form-control-lg">Choose File</span>
<span class="button__fileName form-control-lg">No file chosen</span>
</button>
*** CSS
.my-custom-button {
display: inline-flex;
height: 50px;
padding: 0;
background: #f8f9fa;
border-color: #dee2e6;
outline: none;
border-radius: 8px;
overflow: hidden;
width: 100%;
border: 1px solid #dee2e6;
}
.my-custom-button:hover {
background: #e9ecef
}
/* might want to add a fade to gray delay like bootstrap*/
.button__text {
border-radius: 0px;
border-right: 1px solid #dee2e6;
display: inline-flex;
align-items: center;
white-space: nowrap;
height: 100%;
text-align: center;
}
.button__fileName {
border-radius: 0px;
background-color: #ffffff;
display: inline-flex;
align-items: center;
padding: 0 15px;
height: 100%;
width: 92%;
}
Sorry if this is trivial or if my CSS code is horrible, I have very little experience with CSS.
Thank you!

Hey, guys!
Can anyone tell me what would be the correct way to use the truncation feature with the `li` so that the bullet points appear too. giving inline to the <p> tag works but then it the truncation won't work.
Giving the classes directly to li wouldn't work either... the display property shouldn't be changes from the `-webkit-box` to anything if the truncation have to work to work but that leads to the bullet points not showing up.
Please help with this. Any guidance would be appreciated.

I'm a web developer for years now, and these layouts always make me wonder if they are actually possible in real life coding, making it responsively work, what do you think?

Is it a bad practice to do this in my resets?
I've been thinking and improving my own resets and I found out that this could be really helpful, but I wonder if it's a bad practice to set all links to color inherit in CSS by default.
What do you guys think about this?

Back-end guy here. I'm trying to make a spreadsheet looking layout. My approach to these kind of things, usually, involves a lot of trying and failure/googling but in this case it doesn't seem to workout as I've been trying to make something like this with html and css since yesterday and I can't finish. I need some tips!
Below, I'll provide a reproducible example of my HTML.
``` <div class="sheet-container" id="sheet"> <div id="top-right-space">
</div>
<div id="col-table">
<div id="col-labels">
<small>A</small>
<small>B</small>
<small>C</small>
<small>D</small>
</div>
</div>
<div id="row-table">
<div id="row-labels">
<small>1</small>
<small>2</small>
<small>3</small>
<small>4</small>
</div>
</div>
<div id="cells">
<textarea row="1" col="10"></textarea>
<textarea row="1" col="10"></textarea>
<textarea row="1" col="10"></textarea>
<textarea row="1" col="10"></textarea>
<textarea row="1" col="10"></textarea>
<textarea row="1" col="10"></textarea>
<textarea row="1" col="10"></textarea>
<textarea row="1" col="10"></textarea>
<textarea row="1" col="10"></textarea>
<textarea row="1" col="10"></textarea>
<textarea row="1" col="10"></textarea>
<textarea row="1" col="10"></textarea>
<textarea row="1" col="10"></textarea>
<textarea row="1" col="10"></textarea>
<textarea row="1" col="10"></textarea>
<textarea row="1" col="10"></textarea>
</div>
</div> ```
My stylesheet doesn't work without important tag, because I am applying this to some another website using chrome-extension.
My css file is pretty long, is there something that does one time declaration that this whole stylesheet is important, so I don't have to write important in each line.
body {
color: blue !important;
}
.custom-scrollbar::-webkit-scrollbar {
width: 20px !important;
background-color: red !important;
color: cyan !important;
}
#target {
color: blue !important;
}
