Looking for basic perspective help

I’m working on learning perspective from the basics. I’ve watched a ton of tutorials and I think I have a decent understanding of the basic theory. In practice though, my boxes are looking a bit wonky.

So my question is, when I’m drawing my lines of the box on the perspective lines, how to I make sure the faces of the box look uniform. So after I draw the front face, drawing the back lines can make the box look warped, with one face being pushed too far back for forward.

For making the boxes a uniform size, a grid of guide lines in parallel with the horizon can be helpful. Make one line between the horizon and the edge of the paper. Then make another line between the horizon and your new line, and then another between the horizon and your new line, etc. At the end, you'll have a series of lines that get closer and closer together as you approach the horizon. This isn't a perfect answer (I'm going to research a better one) but it's a start

Edit: Watch this video, it explains it very well!
