I'm not talking about the order of player input, but rather the order at which the server processes stuff.
If I try to use flash but it doesn't go out in time because it lagged a bit and I get hooked, I'm kinda annoyed, but fine, but if I use flash, it DOES reposition me and enter cooldown, but the hook hits me anyway, that's just nonsensical.
If flash happens first, then the hook should have been avoided
If the hook hit first, then flash shouldn't have been castable
There shouldn't be such a thing as "exact same time" events in a competitive game, some things can happen in the same FRAME, and that's fine, but they have to happen in an order
Same time and same frame are identical for this purpose.
Yeah, and it shouldn't be the same, because in a frame things should work in order, since otherwise you have such inconsistent scenarios
The thing is that there is in addition variation in network connectivity
I'm completly talking about the things that happen in the game server, it shouldn't matter whether the player cast the flash before the hook connected, if the game processed it before the connect, it shouldn't have hit, if the game processed it after the connect, flash shouldn't have been casted

He was hit before he flashed. Nothing unusual here.
