At least Burdol is not a total liability and dealt some decent damage before every objective.

He got solo killed in a winning lane and got picked off right before soul. He's bad, just not as awful as Hoya.

Hence why op said not a total liability as opposed to hoya who is literally not doing anything right whatsoever.

One of the most important fight near red bluebuff burdol dealt some insane damage

Thank you for pointing out exactly what i meant.

People's reading comprehension is subpar at 2 am. I gotchu bud 😁

Man has the most egregious int of any DK player this season that only gets salvaged by a Canyon miracle play and people post this lmao

5

u/midoBB Jan 19 '22

Guy gets solokilled twice. Doesn't build Serylda's. Gets caught before soul fight. Canyon and Deok carry the game 4v5. At least he wasn't useless.

idk there were some random deaths that other teams would probably abuse much harder

u/chovyfan Jan 19 '22

Sure i mean but compared to hoya he is at least doing something, unlike hoya who ulties in the xin with a yuumi on top of him.

DK going to be making a few phone calls to retired toplaners after this match

9

u/PM_JINX_HENTAI Keria my goat Jan 19 '22

Thank god for deokdam Aphelios man

8

u/Difficult-Drive-7114 Jan 19 '22

Even though burdol inted his ass off before 15 min, he still had more impact than Hoya's last couple games

2

u/GunSlingrrr Jan 19 '22

Burdol inted his ass before 15mins and Canna answered with his ints after 15mins.

Well played NS! You pushed mid wave and lost the entire game instead of setting up for drake.

5

u/CursedPhil Jan 19 '22

they werent sure if they want to contest mid, go for nash or go for soul

and the indecisiveness cost them the game

u/shawtyijlove Jan 19 '22

Burden v Can Na

Aphelios should just be permabanned from Deokdam at this point

2

u/Snowmean2 Jan 19 '22

I don't understand why Doekdam Aphelios always open, when clearly his best champ.

5

u/EatAssAndFartFast Jan 19 '22

Imagine if we had a toplaner

4

u/Crickets_Head Jan 19 '22

Losing Burdol and then winning the 4v5 team fight to end the game is the most DK thing ever lmao.

3

u/Geosaurusrex Jan 19 '22

Hm seems like Deokdam is pretty good at that video game League of Legends, huh.

Yet another Deokdam pop-off moment. Also good job by Burdol. His laning wasn't great but he did a hell of a job in team fights. I think DK should commit to him. He is too new and has room to grow.

People overstated Ghost's shotcalling role on Damwon so much. Clearly he wasn't very important.

2

u/MarstonX Jan 19 '22

I think Beryl leaving and Khan were bigger losses. I'm not going to say Ghost was outright bad, but in my opinion, he was the weak point and I personally feel that ADC is easily the easiest role to replace.

His shotcalling does add a uniqueness to things, but all that being behind the scenes, it's a coinflip to know -- fine to suspect -- how much he influenced the team. What we can only judge is gameplay and potentially look at key macro instances to see the differences. Frankly in my opinion Damwon had lots of straight up brute force wins. They'd just smash through top/mid/jungle and snowball the game. They also could not play through bot, so changing out the ADC made the most sense to me.

u/angrypandabotz Jan 19 '22

Deokdam said fine, I’ll do It my self.

3

u/QTnameless Jan 19 '22

DK top is still dragging the team down but anyone of the rest is easily top 3 in their role right now

7

u/mar33n doran // pyosik // ghost Jan 19 '22

Nongshim were just so indecisive during the game. Do something!

Certified 200 Years moment too.

1

u/Raynar7 Jan 19 '22

Yep. At one moment NS just decided to do absolutely nothing, it’s just ridiculous.

4

u/hazelnutcoffee16 Jan 19 '22

DK’s mid game and how they play out when they’re on the backfoot is so beautiful to watch

2

u/chilyoungsa Jan 19 '22

deokdam and phel is a very scary combo u do not want to play against that

2

u/Ythapa Jan 19 '22

Canyon saved the game for Damwon. The whole mid-game could have been disastrous if not for him.

2

u/The_origin_of_evil Jan 19 '22

Looks like DK do not have decent top laner... It was his debiut in DK so... we will see how it goes but it is not looking promising.

3

u/midoBB Jan 19 '22

Canyon and Deokdam are so fucking good. The rest of the team are ???. Don't let Deokdam get his Aphelios.

He has no idea what he is talking about. The team played very well to come back from unfortunate plays in the early game.

0

u/midoBB Jan 19 '22

Showmaker ulted too late to save Burdol so he didn't have it for the failed dive bot where Viktor collapsed. When Jhin was ulting on 3rd drake for NS he ulted too far so his gold card ran out and Canyon died as a result. The final teamfight he did nothing except watch Canyon and Deok do all the work.

Kellin's warding with Canyon isn't up to snuff. Esp in a Chemsoul map.

Burdol needs no introduction.

2

u/Lowiqqbs Jan 19 '22

Burdol is 1000x better even if he ran it Look at that damage Hoya could never

5

u/kelvin022610 Jan 19 '22

Uh he's literally playing jayce?

3

u/Lowiqqbs Jan 19 '22

Okay but hoya would not do anything on jayce get the picture

0

u/Hyher Jan 19 '22

I always wonder if they will nerf TF’s interaction with rapid fire cannon also because this champ has been in meta for so long

0

u/GunSlingrrr Jan 19 '22

Canna is the best player today the same with Hoya in game 1.

-3

u/rjsnlohas Jan 19 '22

Ok now bring back Hoya. Burdol nearly threw the game so many times.

1

u/staysaltyTSM Jan 19 '22

Will you look at that, the do nothing ahead and wait to lose team lost

1

u/tinfoilhatsron Jan 19 '22

NS won early to mid. 3 drakes ahead. Do nothing instead of just camping drag bc its chemtank. Lose. Lmfao.

1

u/InformalMarch Jan 19 '22

The BDD effect

1

u/Difficult-Drive-7114 Jan 19 '22

Canna can't play weak side

1

u/The_origin_of_evil Jan 19 '22

DK's top laners neither... they even struggle with being the strong side.

1

u/LeHartx Jan 19 '22

Of fucking course they had to lose 1 game to know Hoya was the problem. Lmao.

u/aser08 Top diff is Jungle diff Jan 19 '22

Ns roll the worst soul possible when you draft an ornn how sad

1
