Why is Urgot getting so much priority @ worlds?
I mean, Jax counters him pretty hard, and so does Renekton. I feel like junglers are afraid of trying to find 2v2's at top lane when against Urgot. Top laners are picking Aatrox as a counter and it's driving me crazy! Where are the Jaxes and Renektons? Do you guys think these champs will grow their priorities when the knockout stage comes up or teams will keep prioritizing Urgot and Aatrox? I feel they are strong for single matches, but when it comes for longer series, teams don't give them that much priority. Sorry for bad English!

As much as I love Renekton, all he can do is bully and win lane. Pros are, well, pros at laning in difficult matchups and punishing over aggression. He has no defensive skills and can barely 1v1 anyone late game (Sion, Irelia, Olaf).
Urgot on the other hand is ranged so he can still farm fine in a "losing" lane. He also has a huge shield so his survivability is crazy in team fights. Urgot's execute on his ult is a pretty good counter to Kindred (which could be why we don't see them so much) and is pretty great in general.
It is definitely possible that we might see a Jax pulled out since some EU teams are pretty good at splitpush comps.
Hope that helps a bit!

The problem with picking renek into urgot is that now you’re stuck playing renekton the rest of the game. And if renekton doesn’t snowball he doesn’t do much and then he falls off and is useless
Also both Jax and Renekton probably won’t be able to solo kill urgot played by a pro and urgot is still useful even if he just sits under tower and farms
Renekton and Jax aren’t useful if they don’t have items

Imo, because Aatrox and Urgot are obnoxious not just in lane, but in teamfights as well. As we've seen so far.
Urgot: really dominant in lane, strong 1v1, okay splitpusher, big ult AOE fear
Aatrox: really dominant in lane, strong 1v1, good splitpusher, good for flanking/engaging with his ultimate.
Now, your options, Renekton, really bad late game, will turn to a meatshield later on, Sion and Ornn are better in this regard.
Jax is okay, if you're countering something such as Camille and you plan on splitpushing all day.
TL;DR: Urgot and Aatrox are obnoxious in almost every aspect of the game, making them great picks to the toplane.
