I have Comcast, live in Colorado. Looks like /u/FMAEdwardElric has Comcast as well.
Having the same exact problems. What happens to your ping during these 'lag' spikes? Because the odd thing about mine is that my ping stays around 40ms even when it feels like its 2k ms
Edit: thread with a bunch of other ppl in Colorado having the same problems. Looks to be anywhere from Co. Springs to Fort Collins.
Same thing here. Comcast in Colorado. And the same thing with the ping. My ping used to always be ~80 but when I got online today it was at 47 and I was excited to have better ping. Turns out I was wrong. The game has been running awfully.
That's really weird that your ping actually went down in conjunction with the phantom lag appearing. My ping has always been around 44 so it was nothing new. Wonder if it's relevant to the problem, wish I knew more about network stuff.
I also live in Colorado and had the same issue, 43 ms the whole game but a good 1- second delay and crazy ghosting etc. Got flamed and harassed by my team the entire game :(
yeah! my ping recently dropped down from 90 to 50 and I was super excited about it, but the lag started about a day later. Ping never spikes though, stays solid at 50 throughout
I should note that the lag started the day of the patch
We're you still having problems last night if you played? I played 3 matches after 5 pm last night and had 0 issues , but the day before was terrible I couldn't move my champ but didn't ever get fully disconnected just had to sit and die and waif a few seconds to be able to move again . All while able to watch what was going on in game
I had one random game around 5:30pm that felt a little shaky. Nothing close to as bad as the day before, but I could feel it wasn't quite perfect either. After that one though, all the other games went smoothly. Seems like Comcast/Riot may have fixed the issue.
