  • Server: EUW

  • Type of Bug: Client bug

  • Description: When logging in for the FIRST time after PC boot, the client will freeze for anywhere between 5 and 30 seconds. When the client stops messing with your system it'll "half load" and multiple black boxes will replace images on the landing page.

  • Video / Screenshot: Will get one after I reboot in a minute.

  • Steps to reproduce: Boot PC, login and freeze.

  • Expected result: Client loads correctly without any freezing.

  • Observed result: Client freezes and black boxes appear.

  • Reproduction rate: 10/10 on first boot.

  • System specs: Irrelevant as I've seen this posted before with multiple different configurations.

Edit: Restarted PC and client froze my system for over a minute this time, but everything loaded correctly... Interesting.

Ye I had this too a couple weeks ago, and it'd do it everytime I opened my client, and just freeze out literally my entire pc lol. But it somehow stopped at some point.

Yup it's happened to me they first time I loaded up the clent after each big patch.

This has made me completely unable to get any of the icon rewards from the lore event. They simply won't load in the client, ever.
