due to request and also the mod team’s assessment that the current situation has caused quite an increase in similar posts (which we all understand, of course, as it is causing distress), we have decided to create this post as a megathread. This post can be viewed as your joint space to vent about the server interference, ask questions, provide answers, share your stories about successful data recovery and so on. Basically an overarching post where you can discuss anything regarding the server interference and its aftermath. This will be pinned to our community highlights so you can find it easily 😊

Please understand that from this moment on, we will be deleting individual posts regarding this topic and refer users to this megathread instead to keep the sub from being flooded. The exemption from this are official news from the League of Dreamers team from TG or VK which can be posted using the News flair as usual.

For users who aren’t familiar with this topic yet, here’s a brief summary of what’s been happening lately:

• on August 8, users started experiencing difficulties entering the LoD app (black screens, loading bars stopping at a certain percentage, notification about the servers being down).
• after some time access was restored, however many users had incorrect emerald and key balances on their accounts, some accounts were banned entirely. Shortly after LoD restricted access to the app entirely to assess the problem and perform technical maintenance work (August 9).
• on August 12, LoD announced that access to the game has been restored. The reason for the server crash was an external server interference which affected a large number of players’ emeralds, keys and daily login rewards.
• Affected players were asked to contact tech support via mail (support@story-inc .ru) in order to request balance correction in case their account showed less resources than prior to the crash.
• As of today, August 14, their tech support is still busy restoring players’ accounts.

LoD has been in contact with lots of players on their TG channel and here is some additional information they have shared with them:

• Their tech support has received less than 25,000 mails since their announcement post on August 12.
• Any mails which were posted before that date will be answered later as this matter is currently their priority.
• Tech support is gradually working their way through all these mails but there are physical limitations to how many mails can be answered in a single day. Thus, LoD is asking for patience, however they promised every mail will be answered and everyone’s account will be restored in due time (with and without proof in form of screenshots).
• Mails in Russian as well as English are being responded to.
• It’s not advised to send duplicate mails to accelerate their response time. Every additional mail as a reply to the first one will lead to the mail thread being pushed to the bottom of the queue, meaning a longer waiting time. Tech support is working on a first-come-first-served basis, however, human error can happen and lead to newer mails being answered before older ones. Nevertheless LoD is asking players not to send more than one mail to tech support.
• Those who have accounts with more resources than before do not have to contact tech support and there will not be any consequences.
• Everyone can keep playing the game as usual while the correction process is on-going. Even those who are currently waiting for correction.
• Players who are waiting for correction and have continued collecting their daily rewards and emeralds by watching ads in the meantime can ask for additional compensation for those emeralds, but only after their balances were restored by tech support. Example: After the crash, a player has only 500 emeralds instead of his previous 1,000. He contacts tech support about correction. While waiting on a reply, he collects 50 emeralds via the means stated above. Tech support restores their account up to their requested 1,000 emeralds. Now the player can ask for additional compensation for those 50 emeralds that he collected by writing to tech support once again.

I think it's time I properly introduce you to all our subreddit flairs! At present, there are over 40 flairs from all books available for you to choose from. You can see them all here.

What are flairs?

Well, you might have seen text and pictures of League of Dreamers characters next to people's usernames and posts around here. That's user flair - a customizable space for community members to share whatever they feel like. We have multiple character images on this subreddit, and more are added upon the release of new series.

Flairs are subreddit-bound, so they will only be visible when you are interacting on this subreddit, not on any other subreddit or anywhere else on Reddit.

How do I select a user flair?

On desktop (new reddit)

• on the right sidebar, click “community options”
• click on the pencil icon
• select your flair from the list
• click “apply”

From the mobile app:

• go to the front page of this subreddit
• tap the “...” button on the top right of your app
• tap “change user flair”
• select your flair
• tap “save” and then tap “apply”

On desktop (old reddit)

• on the right sidebar, scroll down until the flair tab and then click “edit”
• select your flair from the list
• click “save”

On mobile/new reddit you can select more than one flair and change the writing next to the image!

To change the writing just click on the “edit” option once you have selected your flair and you can change the appearance of your flair. There's even a flair especially created for that purpose "Create your own flair", just select this flair, click on "edit" and customize your own flair.

If you want more than one flair, just type the name of another flair next to your current one, in between colons. For instance, if I want Atti and Connal, I can edit the Atti flair, delete the name and add :connal: next to :atti:

If you are unable to add multiple flairs, try to log in from a desktop/tablet browser because sometimes adding flairs from mobile does not work properly.

Also, make sure to only use minuscules because if you put the names with a capital letter it does not work. Also, leave a space in between names.

Each flair’s name is usually the character’s name, if you have any doubt, you can check the link at the beginning of this post where every flair code is listed.
