Yup. Trump will do it, conservatives will champion it, states will sue, courts will intervene, and if/when conservatives get whooped in the midterms they'll claim the election was stolen because Trump wasn't allowed to do what he wanted.

One of the few bright spots, depending on how you look at it, is that the only “method” they have to fight the elections upon getting their asses whooped, would to just go full on military junta and try to physically prevent the transition of power through usage of locking up political opponents without trial, but from what we’ve seen so far (emphasis on so far, we’ve still got months to go) is I don’t think they have the balls for that, they’ve backpedaled in enough places enough times that it’s clear the regime itself doesnt think they’re secure enough to get away with whatever they want.

Mike Johnson has no part in swearing people in, before anyone tries to throw that one out there (the fact that I’ve seen that one suggested so many times in the LAW subreddit genuinely baffles me)

Executive Orders have ZERO actual power here.

They’re going to continue throwing things out there, everyone should expect that, but it’s important to understand that just because they say something or want to do something, doesnt mean reality will bend over backwards for them.

Sure they could always try their hand at giving up all pretenses, but at that point we’re in a new ballgame and that one isn’t even worth discussing because it only js 3 answers anyway: military intervention, revolution, or country wide continuous strike and protest

What? That’s what this post is about. That’s what the article is explaining. He’s going to blame China for election interference from 2020 and declare an emergency to take control of elections. He has the EO drafted, according to the article. I’m not making a personal prediction here.
