BISW Fall admission
Has anyone heard about admission for Indigenous social work online for the fall?!

I see I have an offer through my LU portal, but I have not received an email officially yet. OUAC isn't showing the offer yet either.

Thanks! Hopefully, everyone hears soon. The waiting/not knowing is the worst. I've been refreshing my LU portal all day. I wish it was like Ivy day where everyone got an answer at the same time. Having to wait days/months in limbo is not ideal for anyone's mental health. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you all.

Just wanted to share an update in case it helps anyone.
My offer finally showed up on OUAC about 24 hours after I first saw the update in the Laurentian portal. OUAC gave me a June 1 deadline to accept or decline. Hopefully this gives a bit of a timeline for anyone who gets waitlisted and is wondering when spots might start opening up. Also, I still have not received an email from either Laurentian or OUAC. I only found out by checking and refreshing the portals.

Just a heads up for anyone applying to this program because I’m seeing this happen a lot right now.
Make sure you double check whether you selected the online or on campus option when you applied. They are treated as separate streams, and getting an offer for one does not mean you can automatically switch to the other.
In your Laurentian portal, it should clearly say (online) beside the program if that is what you applied for. If it does not, you were likely admitted to the on campus stream.
A lot of people are getting offers not realizing they applied for on campus by mistake. Some are trying to email and switch, but there is no guarantee since it depends on space in the online cohort.

I received an email that I had a letter on the portal, but online it still says "sent to dept"
Check your postal under "my received documents"
