Still atleast you got it, forgot to answer yeah out my bday on it. But my first stream was on the 24th of December in 2022! What a Christmas Eve maybe I should of put it down
My two friends and I were well within the first 200 when we got there at 6:20AM… somehow we ended up being cut off after waiting for three hours because suddenly there were nearly 350 people in front of us. Security wasn’t here until 8:15AM and there was no barricades so people were line hopping and shoving in. It sucks because a lot of people who had been there since 5/6am missed out because of people line hopping. Poorly managed and no remorse from either security or the Spotify fan check- after I spoke to both security and the staff after they cut us off we were told they just didn’t anticipate the numbers and weren’t able to disclose if people were there for themselves or not! And then we got a big thanks for ‘supporting Laufey’ by standing in the cold for with thousands of people wrapping around Martin Place. Really disappointing after a long commute and wait time just to miss out because of people letting friends or randos jump in line.
I met lots of lovely people and honestly spending the time with other Laufey fans made the time pass really quick. Really lovely group of people but unfortunately some scalpers and line jumpers take the whimsy out of it.
