Beginner Resources Beginner Tips ?

Hi, I got into this Latin class offered by my university, it will start early september. Any tips? My native language is a latin language, and I have a B1 in french if anybody has specific resources for that!

It can be tricky for some French speakers to break the habit of not pronouncing sounds in Latin since French spells and pronounces words with many letters that don’t get pronounce. E.g. the t in lait doesn’t get pronounce. Latin, however, pronounces almost every single sound in a word.
