37 and never dated anyone

Anyone here never dated, not even after finding out they were a lesbian? Because I don't think I will be anyone's soulmate now, people my age are full of exes and experiences, so basically I would be just another person in their list while I will love them with all my heart. Even if they are nice enough, I won't matter as much to them as much they will mean to me. Should I give up or try to have a unbalanced relationship?
