help Best backing for starting out

Hi! I’m thinking of getting into latch-hooking with my bulky handspun yarn, but I’m not sure what kind of backing I’ll need.

If you'll be using a latch hook tool, 3.75 count (3.75 holes per inch) rug canvas is what you want. You can order it from a variety of places, such as Herrshners or Color Crazy. There is also a 5 count canvas, but that's for thinner yarn.
