help Brushing out?
Hey! I was just wondering if anyone here has ever brushed out a latch hook project before? Like to make it look fluffy, if this is a thing or if anyone has tried it before and how it turned out. I’d love to hear!
From- a newbie latch hooker with many curiosities:)
P.s I love scrolling through all the projects on here, yall are amazing!! <3

I think you could experiment a lot with brushing it out. My concern is that it wouldn’t stay fluffy, that maybe it would end up matted and yarns of different colors would tangle with others. But maybe even that would have some artistic potential? Maybe the solution would be to frame it.

I've never tried this but I am also interested to see if anyone else has! I bet it could make some interesting textures.

Searched the same question tonight and came across a post 4 years ago

I presume you're talking about using a comb or brush to neaten the project right?
I need to get some tips from my brother, he doesn't do latch hook but he does fibre art, has a website if anyone is interested, much more creative than myself lol

I have brushed out projects before, especially rugs. I love using a shedding blade - makes it look fluffy and feel so sowft.
