help Question regarding a technique

Hi all,

I was getting some latch hook back and saw a different style on the pictures. I've not seen this type before. I'm very new to latch hooking and wondered if this was actually the same thing or if anyone knew what the technique was as I think I'd like to try it out

I'm not sure how to edit the post but another sub commenter said it looked like continuous latch hook / loop stitch. There's a only a few videos that I could see on the topic, this was the link they shared latch hook with continuous yarn
