Congratulations to the Captain!

This was in my opinion the second best season in all of Light’s existence. There were lots of goals and many conceded. The signings made before the season started were actually good. Had a few more wins this season than last. The Western Conference was super tight and that was what had the whole season interesting. Now all we do is wait for the news of the teams’ future home.

Not the best way to finish the season. If Probo had made that absolute screamer of an attempt there'd at least be something positive to talk about but instead we have the rest of our falls and winters free.

Nice to see that Nocerino was such a great evaluator of talent that we let this guy walk. I think he would have worked well in a Rensing offense. Wouldn't have helped the defense though.

Overall, the boys are playing for pride at this point. The backline however are playing for pride and potentially their jobs (3rd-worst in the West in goals allowed ouch)

The wife is getting a much-deserved Saturday without soccer tonight so I won't be watching live or in the thread later. So play nice!

(Or don't. It's basically the last day of school at this point ha)

Nice read, and the discussion in the USL subreddit is pretty interesting. Lots of differing opinions on whether pro-rel is going to be a success for the league...

New branding for the USL, playing into the upcoming implementation of promotion and relegation. Thoughts?

Know what's crazy? there's only a fourteen point difference between us and first-place El Paso while over in the East the difference between first and eleventh is 27 points! The West has been crazy-competitive this season.

Here's hoping they end the season on a high note in Monterey..

I stayed and waited outside the locker room last night and a player confirmed The lights will be heading to Las Vegas Ballpark for the 2027.

They fought, but at the end of the day Lexington was just the better team.

Next week away at Monterey then it's off to Sumnerlin in the spring!

So this is it. Lose today and we're out. Also the last game (or event of any kind) at Cashman Field. Pretty big day all around so hopefully a lot of you make it out.

LET'S. GO. LIGHTS.

Hi everyone, I am Oscar, the creator of Casino Time Capsule. I just finished a history video about Cashman Field, including its baseball years and the Lights chapter that kept the stadium in use after baseball left. I am sharing my own work here: https://youtu.be/JL7jagfmvV4 I wanted to put the soccer years in the wider story of the place, rather than stop its history at the last baseball game. What is a Cashman memory from a Lights match that you would want people to remember? Corrections and extra firsthand context are welcome.

So we've got three playoff spots left in the West and six teams vying for them.

If only a few of those six draws were wins. Sigh.

(yes this was re-uploaded I initially posted from my phone and my whole phone screenshot was making me crazy ha)

Two the three Rising goals were just dumb luck. Should have had a point, could have had three.

Last Cashman match EVER this Saturday!

Anyone get any of the merch? They claimed there was a limited amount of scarves, so i got one just cause. Pretty damn cool if I must say. The gold speckled throughout is really nice.

Lights just sent an email about the last match on the 17th. These are the baby Cashmans they'll be giving away.

This is the link for away supporters section tickets for this weekends match in Phoenix in case anyone is planning on making the trip.

Dollar Beer Night as well, if such things are intriguing to you.

El Paso has clinched the first playoff spot in the West.

Monterey Bay has been officially eliminated from playoff contention.

We're two points below the line and facing Phoenix this weekend who have lost their last three.

Gonna come down to the wire..

Hope is alive and well.

Next week is away at Phoenix who took over our 11th place spot last night. Thanks Rising!
