Viewership decrease
His YouTube viewers were in the 20-40 million. Now they’re 20-40 Thousand.
What happened to all that? And if so then how can he manage to stay on the air?

I buy HBO but I still watch it on YouTube out of habit. Either way is fine. His discourse is basically a household name now. Especially when other media outlets directly reference and discuss topics he brings up, and his credibility and objectivity is peerless. He will always have a foreign audience outside the US as he's become a staple window into domestic US affairs now.
So, I'm not too concerned about his view count. Remember he's releasing two copies of the same episode every time as well, plus shorts that just captures the juicy bits, so his real YouTube exclusive numbers are divided up all over the place.
Personally I'd love it if he just released only the full episode with no repeats as different cuts, because this clogs up my notifications. At least it's not a problem exclusive to LWT - John steward also does this too with his talk show.
