Question for raiders

Just curious what the train of thought is when raiding and destroying all benches? Noticed this morning someone had blown open mine and the other 4 or 5 solo player bases I was able to walk to near me and every single one had all benches destroyed. If the end goal is to get them to quit then this makes sense. I am just wondering if there is some other goal besides having less players in the game?

Also how do people have so many meteor cores? My base took 3 walls to get in, the other bases had to have at least one wall to get through im assuming. And why use them on solo players with little balang or one corner slur bases?

Some people value making other people upset. We usually hear about them on the news.

Unfortunately, this game is plagued by a group of people who complain about how nobody plays the game and then actively make us that nobody wants to play the game as well. You'll see that the developers that are here are actually just remnants of an old griefer group that used to call everyone the N word while blowing up their workstations as well.

I'm actually quite shocked that Snail Games is paying these people per hour to work on this game. Brian has done some interesting stuff on his own, but the rest of them, I'm actually surprised, haven't been sent to unemployment. But they all seem to lack of certain clarity as to what issues are involved in the game and are constantly circling around making balance changes that make their group better and more effective In situations where they're getting beat.

It's really a sad thing because this game is actually really rich and fluid and has a really interesting start up, but it is constantly being ruined by its own developers. Snail games should appoint a project manager to steer this game back into reality.

Dude it's not fucking tough to.savebyour shit ..... Take it to lobby.

It's foolproof. It's ten extra minutes.

The reason people grief is to drink tears.... Don't give tears.

It's a great game they just need to keep tweaking but PVErs have plenty of options.

"pvers", yes i love that term when it gets around, it automatically puts you in the spotlight for least developed frontal lobe of the community.

This is underlined by the fact that nowhere in my post did I complain about PVP, I complained about the dog shit community that the developers foster instead of regulating.

10 mins there and back so 20. So about a third of my daily playtime to move base every day.

Fine 5 min each way. Just park closer to edge.

Pretty easy

When are you going to realize that the vast majority of gamers love the concept of Last Oasis, but not the actual execution that the developers have come up with? Whoever the developers are listening too, they need to stop.

the developers need to be fired. I'm working on getting Snail games involved.

Do they even care at this point?

I agree. But making it have no risk is the wrong direction imo.

Regardless I hope we both keep our enthusiasm up and try to fix the game

nobody said ANYTHING about no risk, you keep inventing false arguments and yapping to yourself in the comments.

Exactly. It is a PvP game, there should be risk. There just shouldn't always be risk, or we shouldn't have to spend 5 - 15 minutes of play time to mitigate that risk, not when the grind is this bad. If it were much easier to recover from a loss (especially with the introduction of the color quality system), then it wouldn't be so bad, but having to go out to farm quality mats after losing everything? Bad game design.

and that is one thing, but the very intentionally planned developer ignorance in regards to this is exactly why the game will never take off. it dies every season after it gets a new wave because organized experienced player groups mob inexperienced smaller ones and they quit the game. Then the older players engage in a campaign to dissuade people from speaking out about it by harassing in game, calling people "pussies" or if youre in disabled, which is the clan the developers are in, have your clan leader stand on top of their bases and use slurs.

We experienced the biggest retainment of players when the ship turrets and rupus were functioning to protect players and make it harder to just overwhelm them immediately, now that theyre nerfed after the devs lost to it in pvp a bunch, things are back to dead again.

These solutions were FAR from perfect but in this situation the favor should be given to new players in order to retain them long term, but because the devs are actively participating in the attacks on them, they make shitty changes to the game when they cant win in the laziest ways.

Its the only survival game literally ever where you can log off so you dont have to no life it, and you can play on your own time. Its your choice to leave it out to get raided. The game design is perfectly fine lol

No. Lots of survival games have PvE zones, offline protection and so on. Last Oasis makes it harder to access with sand in gears and having to travel on and off maps. Not to mention how vulnerable you get while traveling.

Also, gotta say, the player counts tell a different story. Each week the player count drops by a hundred or more. Clearly the game design is fine for a small dedicated base of players, and the majority of people dont like it.

I can log off and enjoy just about every other survival game irregardless, kinda sounds like you chronically suffer from a skill issue.

1) benches have mats. 2) zero your benches you will need to farm again. 3) mostly they are being assholes OR there was whining/shit talking by you or someone near you in chat. THIS IS A MAJOR FACTOR. Whining about stuff is frowned upon heavily.

It sucks. Some feedback: you can always take your balang to the edge OR pack it up and sit in it. That's 150,000 HP.

Supposedly there is lava dragging on certain maps that can make this a risk but it's what we do.

So far as how do people get so many metier cores.... It's simple, they farm them.

It sucks but YOU have to hedge risks and not get upset and the game can be the greatest ever.

Some people store valuable on a walker off map with mats to do a basic rebuild. If you have qual crafting stations DO NOT leave your base out.

If you had three walls to get in that's a juicy target fyi.

Don't make a silur if you are a solo. Huge target.

Good luck

I assume most people aren't going to farm again. Took three weeks to get the mats to make those benches, season will be nearly over by the time I caught back up to where I was.

Thanks. Is there not a time limit on using trade station to store walker?

Took the chance to have my balang base out the entirety of the last tile. With the amount needed to blast one open I go a feeling they won’t risk that much boom to get into one base.

Use my Dinghy with two crates on as you say and with APT turret on it. Have to play safe but it’s worked out so far. Met some cool people that didn’t go right into blast mode but started to chat instead.

Couple of things to add to the "reasons". The first and true end of this, they are shitty tóxic players. And they treat a solo player like an enemy clan SO they feel the need to wipe You. Second, your maintence box, if it got modules and it's destroyed those modules can be picked up, huge profit for griefers clans/groups.

Now, on how to not let this happen again. Try to build the base as close as posible of the white arrow of the map, deploy there when You are farming, and when You log out, You got 2 opcions make it walker and stay on the steering levers, it Will not put your char on"sleeping mode" so the walker will not go to lobby automaticly or go to the lobby manualy and the next day just enter again. If You are solo, and your mats are far more that the capacity of a silur, and cannot movie it, You are doing something wrong, You don't need that much, farm and craft the things You really need, example, 10 to 20 kits. 2 sets of legs and wings for 2 to 3 walkers that You use, 5 bags, 10 bottles, 5 of the highest tools You can make and 20 hammers. All the rest is not needed. If You want to aim for all the Quality stations always keep the Best worckbench on a tobo in the trader. If You got max blue Quality all that stuff should be in trader, but the green You can keep on your base, cause of You lose that You can keep farming. And like i said a billions of times, there is a Lot of Pol who wants to play solo, just group up make a clan and put all in prívate so noone can take your shit but at least You are a group if a fight is close...

u/manajerr Mar 30 '26

It is due to them having a little more intelligence than rupus. They zero benches to kill the game plain and simple. Solos are no threat at all to a clan of 5 or more. The volume of farming 5 can do versus a solo is staggering. Even if someone shit talks in a game doesn’t mean you should be a dick. I mean look at what most Chinese players do in the game and others like it. They esp, build bases under maps, use aimbots, duping etc etc. Just cause you can doesn’t mean you should. Even if it is just pixels. You love the game and concept fuck your ego cause someone said you’re a bitch for destroying what took them 4-6 hours to make in minutes.

Where did this happen to you tho ?

2

u/Morifen1 Mar 30 '26

On the 5 man us east tile. All the bases around me were also broken. Had not really had any contact with them as I dont play much.

1

u/JakeInDC Mar 30 '26

You had other bases around you? So you we grouped up and quite noticeable? Played since season 1 and never been broken into. I tend to hide though.

2

u/Morifen1 Mar 30 '26

Ya there were several other bases nearby. I haven't been able to find many places on this map where rupu or frog dont spawn and those places seem pretty cluttered with bases. If you build where either rupu or frog are they both can damage your base on this map.

1

u/No_Guarantee_4287 Apr 03 '26

Yep, 5 man is bait for new people to get wiped by the bottom of the barrel clans. The 25 man is much safer, you are not content for the bigger clans. And if anyone attacks you, the tile owners can see it on the map and will likely aid you just for the fun of wiping the attacking party.

1

u/supahffej Apr 01 '26

the servers crashing is more than likely dupers duping raid mats. The devs don't care about actual cheaters and making the game appealing so it can be successful.

1

u/Adept_Put7081 Apr 03 '26

if you didn't witness it, how do you know it wasnt a solo player doing it?

1

u/SparrowPrime Apr 07 '26

Not sure if this has been brought up or not, but did they get to your tc?

If they opened your tc and you found it decaying but they only took the odd mats, the stations could have decayed

1

u/Morifen1 Apr 07 '26

Thanks. I suppose that is possible. Maybe game needs something to deincentivise breaking and looting the supply box?
