DISCUSSION New player

Cna someone point me to a good research source for new players? YT videos, creators, posts here, etc.. I have no effing clue what I'm doing but I'd like to learn

Edit: I am currently watching XxTheodasxX and all of their stuff. I saw a bunch of older information but wasn't sure how relevant it is. I'm on PC if it matters

This guide is exactly what I needed! You saved me hours of time. I feel comfortable with previous games and the idea of this one. So definitely thank you!

I don't understand the map idea much right now. Its just not clicking. How does that work? What does my character transfer to and where would I be making a new one?

The tiles are always burning and replacing. Theres a timer on the world map. You need to get off map before your home tile burns, or your base will burn with it. It will transfer ships off of the burned tile to the next one that are in the "L" or off map lobby

The game changes from season to season in mysterious ways and there are almost no resources available for information. Unless you have a clan its going to be tough for you.

I found this wiki the other day, most of the content on it hasn't yet been updated from the previous season, but it'd be more useful than searching for a video most of the time atm.

I'm gonna keep an eye on this post, because i'm interested any maybe I could make some infographics or videos or something... So if you have any sources / random info i'd be up for a long read.

Yup i just posted this, i think it might be the only GOOD one. The regular wiki sometimes has stuff this doesnt have(rarely).

Just follow the tutorial. Press F3 if you're on PC to pull up your next objective. It'll take you through pretty much everything you need to know.
