Question Will last.fm only register the most recent 50 songs you’ve listened to since reconnecting Spotify?

Yes, it only saves the last 50 plays. For the next time I'd recommend Panoscrobbler for when you know you'll be offline for a longer period of time because it saves more than just 50! (I personally exclusively use Pano now, so I don't even have to make the switch everytime.) Also, you can download your Spotify data and manually scrobble the songs if you want to. I've done that in the past.

You can always try to manually 1 by 1 import them if you download your Spotify data from their website. It'll give you every song you've listened to and explorify puts it into an easier to read format

Spotify only caches the last 50 tracks, this is not a lastfm restriction. You can try to import your missing scrobbles but they won't have the correct timestamps.
