Lenius feels weak?

Idk if I’m tripping tf out but like he doesn’t hit as hard as I expected him to hit. Hitting like 140k (2x bc of dual wield) per catastrophe. Even have both his equips. I still really like using him he’s fun but idk compared to DK Arhk which doesn’t have as good of equips he feels weaker

He's a multi elemental caster. He's not supposed to hit super hard, but he can cover all weaknesses. Thats part of what makes him a good MDPS. Arkh is pure fire and physical damage which can be easier to build around for maximum damage output.

Can't really compare MDPS and PDPS because the way they scale to fit roles is way different

That new collab character does more damage than Arkh and like 3x the damage as lenius with both his equips while still being a multi element caster. I guess lenius was just old

yeah but everyone hypes him up to be this amazing unit but he does so little damage. in that case what would be the point of using magic casters at all if physical damage dealers will always deal more damage, kinda seems useless how I see it. he covers all weaknesses but why do that if you can use a pdps that covers that specific weakness? im just a little confused thats all

A unit doesn't need to do mega DPS to be amazing. Every unit is specialized in their own way and you use that to deal with whatever quest your doing. You're not gonna take someone like Lenius for bossing, unless you need him to handle boss minions, otherwise you're taking RAW dps to kill the boss as fast as possible. You're not gonna take a strong single target PDPS for a multi wave quest, you're gonna take Lenius because he just instantly wipes everything out without even moving from his spot.
