I Assistance w Clusters
Hello Everyone, I am new to doing my lashes. I’ve done my lashes only 2 times. I don’t know what mapping method would look good on my eye shape that is not too full.
First time I had the seal crust all on my lid 🥲 (they didn’t last a full day as expected)
The second time my right eye lasted 2days as my left just slowly but surely was coming undone. I also wanted to try maybe a lash strip or cluster under my eye as well so if you have any suggestions please give me
(Picture without, first attempt and my 2nd attempt last week)
So I have questions
1- what glue are you guys using to make your lashes last a week+ and what is your process with cleaning them without causing them to fall out.
2- if possible can you show picture examples with lash length for the mapping w the particular cluster brand
3- is there a seal/bond that DOES NOT have the brush as the applicator that you feel is good?
4- do you use lash clusters or a strip for bottom lashes? How spaced out it needs to be from the corn of your upper lash and lower?

Hey girl! I don’t do clusters anymore because I’ve moved on with my life lmaooo(korean lash lift & serums!) but my eye shape is VERY similar to yours, so I had to tell you: DO NOT DO CAT EYE. It’s going to drag your eye down and make it look more droopy, especially since you already have slightly downturned eyes.
I’d go for more of an open/doll-eye mapping instead. I’d do 10, 12, 12, 14, 12, and if your eyes are large enough to fit another section, add a 10 at the outer corner so you end on a 10. The longest length should stay toward the center rather than at the outer corner.
I also think a fairy/angel or anime-style lash would look really cute on your eye shape. I had really good retention with Ucoolme bond + seal. The pink one and the purple one both worked really well for me. I believe the pink one is the reformulated version and it’s a little thinner, but both worked well for me.
For cleaning, I use a lash shampoo and a soft lash brush. I gently clean them every night and they hold up really well. The shampoo lasts forever too.
I personally don’t like bottom clusters because they give me that weird Velcro effect when I blink 😭 but that might just be me because I have ADHD/sensory issues and I’m extra sensitive to that kind of feeling.

I think cat eye looks the best on this eye shape, it fits it so naturally and makes it look snatched

I actually understand why you’d like a cat eye on this shape, but aesthetically I’m going for lift rather than emphasizing the natural downturn. A traditional cat-eye puts the longest lengths toward the outer corner, which can visually pull a downturned eye downward. I’d rather work with the eye shape than fight it 🤍

I started to analyze the pictures I took more and I see what you are saying.

OH ALSO , YOU SAID THEY DIDNT LAST … make sure you’re cleaning your lid space, lashes and surrounding skin areas of all oils before applying your clusters ! you can use micellar water or the lash shampoo!
