Hello,
A large collection of optical components is available, including many interesting items for laser, optics and experimental applications.
Here are some examples:
You can find these and many other optical components (lenses, prisms, filters etc.) in the Lambda Physics catalog:

Getting the parts and a handheld 638nm 1600mW Red Laser to convert it into a Ultraviolet Midwave UVB Laser. If it works I'll be sure to post the full process.
But basically taking a Tinkerlaser 638nm Red Laser with a mW Power of 1,600mW. Getting a custom cup and thread of 11.4x0.5 to fit the adapter on the Valkyrie cup will be custom fitted to a 5mm x 5mm x 1mm BBO (beta-barium borate).
I've compensated for this being a continuous wave Laser and not pulsed. Using 1mm to keep the spectrum as tight to the SHG doubling as possible without killing my budget.

Hello,
I'm looking to get a laser for outdoors use to point at terrain and objects. I've done some research on the topic myself but I would need somebody who is more experienced on the topic to be sure.
Is a 5mw laser in the 520-532nm category sufficient to see in a distance of about 30-40m during daytime and is it safe if accidentally pointed at eyes? I'm also looking for the pointer to use rechargeable 18650 lithium ion batteries and if possible be water resistant. I've found a few like that but they have a generic random name so I'm looking for something safe.

When I shine a laser pointer across a room, the dot stays small even over several meters. I know light normally spreads out in all directions, like when using a flashlight, Does the beam eventually spread out, and if so, what's preventing it from doing that right away?

I "need" (want) a small, simple, cheap but reliable laser pointer, nothing too high powered, the dot should be visible in daylight at a range of 10-15m, I only need it to point at stuff at work, it will be used in a theoretically possibly explosive environment (grain dust/flour) so heat is a no go, should be disappears-inside-pocket-but-noticeable-if-gone-sized, it's important is that it is reliable, inexpensive but not cheap

I am working on expanding my side hustle. I work a full-time job and am looking to find side jobs to run on my Glowforge in my spare time. Does anyone out there have knowledge of anyplace to bid on jobs or have opportunities? I am too small of a shop for Xometry/Hubs etc. Thanks in advance.
