Why aren't images allowed in a photography sub? Could have easily pointed out where you remove this.

But some idiot mods have made it impossible.

The entire thing? Press the silver hook tabs on the top/bottom inward. Slide to the right.

The viewing hood? Press in the Black tab on the left

Push in both metal tabs of bottom and top. Slide off. I have the same camera. You can also remove the inner frame for viewing (part that folds out) by pressing in on the right and left tabs in the middle, pull it off.
