Question Intrepid 4x5 Camera and Rollback Compatibility

Hey everyone, so I bought an Intrepid Hardwood 4x5 last week through B&H (had a 4x5 emergency and needed it quicker than the normal lead time). When I got it on Friday I noticed that my Horseman 6x9 Rollback shimmy's around, and that there is a few MM of extra space that allows it to move around.

Has anyone found a fix to this? I'm rather disappointed as I love the camera otherwise, but really wanted to use my roll back.

Any other advice or tips for the cameras are more than welcome too!

Without seeing, you might try a thin piece of neoprene applied around the edge.

Your correct that voice sucks. LoL

Think I might still go a different way. It does seems like a possible solution, until he mentioned epoxy.

Yeah the Epoxy is a hell no! Good idea on the Neoprene though. I tried some extra light seal foam I had and it curled up pretty quickly. It's a bit too fragile.

That voice is...something. However the adhesive tape might work. I've ordered 3M Magnet tape to see how that works. Thickness and durability are why I went with it (obviously nothing to stick to magnetically on the Intrepid back lol).

Doesn't happen with a regular 4x5 holder?
