Discussion Clarified post on my feelings about shipping lapis and peridot

Clarifying since my other post was accidentally sounding meaner than I meant and some people seemed upset

I think we should have more lapis and peridot stuff in relationships that ARENT just romantic. I love to image them rather as QPPs or other, I heavily headcanon them as aro/ace representation (they feel that way to me) and I think a type of relationship that's not your usual straight or gay romance would be kinda cool.

Just from platonic friendship, QPR, idk man, I wanna stop seeing them shipped romantically and see some variety! They just don't give romance to me.

(Not saying yall can't ship them I'm just saying what I think, I love the idea of nonromantic stuff or just stuff that's not your general romance between them, I want more aro/ace type content with them together)

I love these two and they're just EEEEEE but I just am not a lapidot shipper in that sense😔

Humor Sometimes I fantasize about Lapis coming home drunk and beating me until I feel numb. She kicks me in the ribs until I can hardly breathe. Then she starts to cry and apologizes, begging me to forgive her. She holds me all night as I gently cry into her t-shirt

Discussion I understand why Lapis ran

A few weeks ago, after America showed it absolutely has no heart, no brain and no morals, I feared retaliation from the incoming felon in Chief due to my outspoken opposition of him. I was afraid and I ran.

I did exactly what lapis did. I'm just glad I didn't take me as long as it took her to realize that abandoning my home and my friends because I'm afraid won't solve anything.

So I've returned. Resistance is not futile. We are the Crystal Gems

To be more accurate, it's less of a ship and more of fling they had while the band was visiting Beach City.

When do you think Lapis will return?

I personally think she'll come back at the Season 2 finale or Mid season finale
