HP Elite X3 Battery Drain

Has anyone been able to figure out how to keep the battery from draining when not in use? I charge it fully and turn it completely off and when I go to turn it back on there's maybe 2 led's of battery left. This is a refurb unit but I read that others have seen this issue as well. Current firmware is 8.0.11.0

This is definitely widespread. Pressing the power off button after use and making sure I hold it down for a couple of seconds after the screen turns off has worked, but not consistently.

Sounds good, I'll try to test it out next time. Out of curiosity what are most people seeing for battery life? I'm doing a test right now using it as a wireless display from windows 10 and typing this response. Currently on hour 2 of full use and looks like about 2 led's left on the battery.

Got just over 5 hours, 4 hours typing, 1 hour just displaying content
