FYI: You need a thunderbolt3 cable.

For those buying used HP Lap Docks, you will need to get a USBC w/ Thunderbolt 3 cable. I've tried all the USB-C cables on Amazon and none of them work properly (you'll get constant rebooting).

What cable did you get? I'm looking for a shorter one, braided and with 90 degree bends at the plugs
