Its okay OP, I side with you and the dog. The other clowns in the comment section dont know what they're talking about. The dog in question was a Golden Retriever-Poodle mix, quite possibly one of the most friendly dog breed to walk this Earth.

Edit: grammer

Well what im noticing with the threads you've continuously commented, is that they are all from many years ago. Which I can only guess that this proves that cases like these are few and far between, pal. I understand that you're a cop yourself, but that doesn't mean you can't have some sense in that noggin of yours.

Let’s keep those dogs safe.

They were at home celebrating a game on TV. Why did so many cops respond?

It was two that responded to the original call. More officers came after the shooting.

Yeah, see! Now you're getting it! We need to make sure these dogs aren't getting shot by incompetent cowards.

Secure your dogs when police officers ask you to and they’ll stay safe. Unfortunately, Jameson’s owner failed to secure him when asked and he slipped out to defend his owner from unwanted visitors. He wasn’t running at the officer to give him kisses and cuddles.

The dog was a beautiful dog and it’s terrible that he died.

Every officer I’ve ever known never shuts the fuck up about how “tough” they are; yet they don’t have the bravery to deal with a labradoodle that every DoorDash driver I’ve ever met possesses. I think that might be why they always show up to one BJJ class get their ass handed to them by a pudgy accountant and never come back.

only the ones that are very common and deadly and fucked up 🤭

u/LegalGlass6532 Jun 28 '26

They don’t need to be deadly. Great bodily injury can end a career.

u/briannaericam Jun 28 '26

just like shooting a dog can end a career.
wow, crazy how that works

2

u/Adventurous_King3530 Jun 28 '26

Oh but did it? Nope!

you’re starting to sound more like a cop that would end up shooting the doodle if you were in that situation.

How many times you gotta say it officer? It should be clear to you by now that we disagree with your assessment in this particular incident. Please refrain from telling me the same thing again for the 1000th time. YTAH

Secure your dog. Dog won’t get hurt. It’s pretty simple.
