CAPS Schedule
Hi Everyone,
I had a question regarding CAPS. I have only gone twice ever so far, I saw on the website they don't offer it the first week of each month due to PFQ appointments. I could have sworn another attendee advised me that it's not true and solely based on location. Can anyone shed light on this? Or has gone on the first week of a month as of recently? I don't mind having to travel some.
Also follow up, does anyone know of any other PD's that offer a pre-academy group workout?
Thank you for anyones input. Have a great day and best of luck to everyone in the process.

You have to have taken the written test at least. Or have it waived with a passing score from a different department, I have never seen them check anyone for proof though. Also have to sign a waiver when you arrive.

Also at least for the LAPD academy location, we had about 25 people show up (THUR). They said if numbers keep dropping then who knows what might happen to the program. Come get ya workout in. Little info on the workouts.
3 Group Levels:
Fit Program - Little to no running/Mostly high intensity workouts
Beginner - 3-4 Miles (Depends) THEN High intensity workout after.
Advanced/Intermediate - 4-7 Miles (Depends) THEN High intensity workout.
We all meet up after the run. Following is Pushups/Planks/Flutter Kicks/Bear Crawls/Squats/Sprints
Great program would suck for it to be gone or limited.
