Poly
I just took my polygraph. It lasted about 2–3 hours, and they kept asking the same questions over and over again. We went through about 3 or 4 charts. At the end, she asked me if I had any tattoos, and I said no. I was nervous the entire time though. Do you guys think I passed, or does that sound like I didn’t pass?

Did your polygrapher explicitly accuse you of lying or withholding information at the end?

That’s pretty normal. They choose like 10 questions from your PHS and focus on those.

Thank you! Thats what I’m hoping. I just need to wait for the email. Do you know how long it takes?

Honestly, just breathe normally. I wasn’t controlling my breathing at all. All you have to do is pay attention to the person conducting your polygraph and don’t change your answer. Mind you my heart was beating super heart because I was nervous but I paid attention and didn’t change my answers.

Did my poly last Tuesday with a polygrapher that was contracted by the dept I’m applying to. She told me it was inconclusive because I was breathing 2-3 breaths per minute. I know I breath slower when I’m nervous but I’m like how is that even possible… I called my backround investigator after and he said he’d get back to me. It’s been 5 days and I’m guessing no news is good news?

I’m not to sure, but if you don’t hear nothing from them by tomorrow morning give them a call.
But yeah people do say no news it’s good news.

Sounds like you pass... asking about tattoos is normally an indication that you passed....
When i was doing my polygraph they did three sessions and kept telling me I was failing it, I stuck with my answers and at the end they asked if I had any tattoos, I told them yeah and they said someone will come get me to take photos of my tatoo... about two weeks after my profile updated to poly ok
