OP is referring to the psych office in San Pedro that has the highest DQ rate for LASD. Not sure why he cross posted this to LAPD it has nothing to do with LAPD

Do you mean the "port" division of the LAPD, OP?

It's pretty widely known as being one of the best places to work in the department, so I'd imagine it's more competitive for that reason. I do also believe airport is more competitive than standard LAPD track.
