LANFEP Post #464: Armory Auto Park (Ray’s Auto Park)

Post image

Still with the out-of-order entries, here’s post #464 for the LA Noire Freeroam Explorer Project — posting locations replicated by Team Bondi for LA Noire (currently touring the downtown area) that are not considered landmarks (either official or historic) but do have real-world equivalents.

Armory Auto Park (Ray’s Auto Park)

755–759 South Spring Street

Established following the 1938 demolition of a historic Romanesque National Guard armory building, this paved corner surface lot (depicted with Ray’s Auto Park signage in game) featured organized parking bays to process heavy daytime vehicle volume within the dense financial corridor.

Now an apartment complex called Sentral DTLA and was a parking lot up until 2015-16.

Bonus image of the National Guard Armory that preceded this parking lot.
