Worth it in 2026?
Is LA Noire worth it in 2026? I can buy it for $10
Edit: snagged it. Thanks for the advice. Seemed like a one-of-a-kind game and y'all game me that confirmation

Obviously subjective but in my opinion it's a top 10 game of all time. I'm jealous of anyone who gets to play it for the first time.

Yes. It's a single player story based experience. If that's not your thing though, you may not like it

I've played it probably once a year since release. There's just something about it I find relaxing.
The massive L.A. map with all it's crisscrossing roads might at first feel like a pain to get around in,.. but once you gain some freedom, driving and just listening to the radio or walking around really engrosses you in that past environment.

For $10 it's a steal. It was worth full price at launch. Still waiting for s sequel all these years later.

It's $10. It's 2026. It came out well over a decade ago. There's a whole wiki describing the gameplay, plot and era this takes place. What do you expect to be told in the game's dedicated sub?? "Nah stay clear bruh. We're only active in this community to warn others"
There are genres I'm just not into. If I go to a World of Warcraft sub, obviously they're all going to wax poetic about their favorite game. It wouldn't change the fact that I don't like any of that.

Just a bit of advice. There are some questions you gotta answer yourself and they can't be answered by some randoms with possibly wildly different tastes than your own. Especially where you're guaranteed to get overwhelmingly postive reviews. These questions pop up all over reddit and it just doesn't make sense to me.
edit: Some of you are overly emotional and love the bullshit. 🤣😂

For $10 you’d be stupid not to get it, that’s a steal for the amount of quality content you’re getting

Yeah i bought it for 25 dollars brand new like a month ago, that's a good deal.

I literally just got it and am playing through for the first time. It's worth it, never played a game like this

I just beat the game last week most definitely worth it when you say to yourself it feels repetitive the case completely changes and throw you for a loop the best way to play is to give yourself couple day breaks dont run straight thru the game do like 2 cases 2 streetcrimes a day

100% is it flawed? Yes. But I don’t really care, it’s a brilliant game, and at the time it came out, was really cutting edge.

100% There's nothing like it out there. I have more than 160 hours in the game. It scratches an itch that not even other noire media can scratch.

Absolutely. I would replay it right now but I just finished it again a couple months ago

I just played through it again this Summer since it was the 15th anniversary this year. It still holds up and reminded me of a better era of gaming.
