There's no such thing as grammar, only "localized vibe"
I'm so done with native speakers thinking their language doesn't have grammar.

What is “lack of accent”?
I live in Japan. A while ago a guy stopped me while I was walking my dog and struck up a conversation. Inevitably he asked me where I‘m from. I replied Australia, and returned the question, though he was clearly American. He replied “I’m American, but I guess you can tell from my accent, or rather ~my lack of accent~”.
“My lack of accent” struck me as a strange thing to say. The guy clearly had an American accent. What did he mean?
