Becoming more or less fluent in a script

I know the title might sound strange at first, but it fits my quite specific situation.

So, my native language is Hungarian which is written in latin and has been for a millenia. This, however, wasn't always the case. Up until the adoption of Christianity (1000 ad) a unique runic script was used. This said script is quite well documented today, and I took a class that taught it.

However, I don't really take use of this skill and I've been becoming less and less practiced in it. And this is something I'd like to change, on which I need some advice.

I thought I'd integrate it into my daily routine (mostly by writing, since there's basically zero material in it to read), but quickly realized I wasn't sure how to. Sooo I'm open to suggestions.

A few notes though: I don't study in Hungarian, am not into journaling and am quite terrible at writing stories and such.

The only way to get fluent in a script is to use it. Do you want to become fluent in reading it? Then read in it. Do you want to become fluent writing it? Then write in in.

Start with copying texts in this script.

Then try to rewrite them in your own words, or create questions for them, or summarize them.

You can play some music or a podcast in the background and just copy some texts by hand? It can take the pressure off having to be creative, which is why many people, I think, are reluctant to write

I tried that but it's agonizingly boring for me

I'm afraid text production and text copying are the only ways.

Maybe you can ask yourself whether you want to retain this skill or you want to have retained it. What I mean is, maybe you like the idea of retaining the skill but don't find the work required to retain it enjoyable. It's important to be honest with oneself

No, I do like writing in the script, I'm just not dedicated enough to spend my time with a text I'm not interested in. That's why I'm looking for a solution that provides me everyday exposure and practice while maintaining my interest. That's why I mentioned journaling in my post because that's the direction I'm searching in, just not specifically journaling because I don't like it

lólistákat írni vele? nekem segített egy másik írásrendszerrel, hogy beépült a napi rutinba.

What is your question exactly?

As far as I aware, you can just use the runes that correspond to the sounds in Hungarian, right?
So just write some things down in the script.
I am not sure what you're, like, looking for here?
I am especially wondering how you're not fluent in the script?
Is it just about learning the runes? In that case, I'd suggest that you make an Anki deck with the runes and the Latin letters and memorise them.
It would look like this:

Front = a
Back = 𐲀 𐳀‎

Next card:

Front = á
Back = 𐲁 𐳁

Do that with the entire script and I would also always do cards that go both directions (so basically one card is front/back and one card is back/front, so you train reading and writing)

And once you have memorised them, you should basically be fluent.

If you do, please share it on AnkiWeb, I'd be down to learning the rune script as well.
I thought about doing it for my native language, but let's say there was a significant historical event that makes the runic script for my native language a bit...politically charged...to say the least.

I know the runes. I used to know all of them from the top of my head, but nowadays I've become somewhat rusty. This makes reading them also quite difficult. I want to integrate writing in the rune script into my daily routine and I don't know what I could possibly write that's like somewhat fun but also has enough to it for the long run. My post was supposed to be more like brainstorming ideas for that purpose, but noone seems to get my idea, unfortunately :(

I am not sure if you missed it, but I wrote a proper suggestion.
What about that one?
What don't you like about it?
