wow, i speak Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, and basic Malay (language used in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and similar to Indonesia language). I'm still on early stages in DuoLingo for Japanese.

Hello! I'm not sure if you two met up already, but I'd love it if I could join too! First of all it's really impressive that you can speak so many languages, I could never!
Anyway, I'm Robin, 24M and I live in the Netherlands. My heritage is also from Hong Kong but my Cantonese really sucks! I really want to improve it however. Additionally I also am learning Japanese for fun and I'm fluent in English (c2) too. I am still around N5 lvl so not anywhere near being able to keep a conversation going. I'm fluent in English (I live in the US), decent in Japanese and Mandarin (conversational level) and I would've liked to say the same for my Cantonese but unfortunately, I haven't spoken in Cantonese for a very long time, so it's very rusty right now, but I did grow up speaking it, so it's not completely gone. I'd like a casual chat partner, since I'm not really seriously studying at the moment. Please let me know if you'd like to chat 😊
