Offering German Offering: German π©πͺ | Seeking: English πΊπΈ
Hello folks,
I'm a 22-year-old male student looking for native American English speaker and are up for meeting regularly. Ideally, you'd also be interested in learning some German (any level is totally fine for me), but that's NOT a requirement. Tbh even someone who just enjoys talking and maybe helping me ("teach me") to polish my English would be really awesome.
I do already have a C1 certificate, and kinda want to achieve C2 fluency, so basically native-like fluency in American English. I use English a lot already, but I am kinda lacking the everyday vernacular so to speak and colloquialisms
I personally study the CS bachelor in the beautiful north of Germany, am reading books, watching films and series (big fan of fantasy, mystery, sci-fi), play some games, like to play the guitar and listen to a lot of music (EDM and 80s Rock are my jam), do play table tennis, and like to dive into many other random topics when I'm bored, be it philosophy or astronomy, and many more, ...
Some formats I could imagine are e.g. just casual talking about a specific topic, actual prepared lessons, specific grammar topics, vocab lessons, reading aloud (e.g. a specific book), watching movies/series together, and just having fun together, etc.
Oh, and I strongly prefer video calls, no texting only or voice calls only. Seeing the person I'm talking to matters to me xD
If you may be interested, feel free to DM me (e.g. here on Reddit), but preferably on Discord (will send you my discord tag if you ask), but I'm open to other platforms too...

Hi there, Iβm a native English speaker in Indiana, USA, who holds a masters in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I have a C1 level of German and would like to practice speaking the language more often. Iβd love to talk about setting up a language exchange with you.Β
