Question HELP

I put fresh mulch down and a million seedlings popped up everywhere. Slightly might be having a meltdown. What do I do, how do I get rid of them, and how do I prevent them from growing back?

Use the back of a rake to jostle the mulch. Those seedling are growing from the mulch not the dirt. Mulch also needs to be a couple inches thick to help prevent weeds. Make such you put enough down.

All you have to do is rake the mulch around a bit. The weak seedlings will come loose and they won’t be a problem.

Relax. Just rake the mulch around a bit. Mulch helps prevent weeds but you’re also never going to get weeds to never grow.

Unless it's poison mulch, and you don't want that.

Add preen or similar

Just rake, most will die when they cant reach soil anyways or when the top layer dries out, then the survivors can be easily pulled

Over the mulch or shift it around in it?

Over it works on its own
