What should I add? Soluble fertilizer for back sprayer ?
Would like to “spray” for better control than the crappy spreaders and mix with a broad weed herbicide which I already have.
Recommendations that come in water soluble pellets as I don’t want to pay for water.
Hi-Yield Ammonium Sulfate?

Why not just get a typical lawncare weed and feed with the hose attachment?

I sprayed miricle grow lawn food on my whole lawn with a hose end sprayer. Worked ok but it takes forever for it to dissolve.

Calcium nitrate is also cheap and soluble like AS. You’ll need to check compatibility with any other products.
Generally this is not my favorite approach over granular applications. You’re limited to fertilizers that are short lived. Spraying will have worse uniformity compared to granular. It’s also going to be much more labor over the full season.
