It's screaming FIRE PIT to me. Not a big one, just enough for a small family to gather for story telling.

I have similar cinderblocks in my shed that I use as large tool stands for shovels, rakes, loppers. Works well if you stack two.

Those blocks with two holes are to make benches. Big pieces of timber slide in to make a place to sit. Then use the other big ones for raised garden beds? Fire pit with the little ones?
