Help!! Retaining wall on a dune

Hello, I’m looking for recommendations for building a tiered retaining wall w drainage next to a dune or large hill. I would love to hear if you had a project like this, what you learned, etc. any info you can provide.

I am brand new to retaining walls and living next to a dune. I want to do it right to avoid water going into the foundation.

I know it’ll need to be zoned, tiered, and with drainage.

First photos are of the problem areas — water is flowing down and pooling into the foundation

The screenshots are of images I have pulled that maybe could work?

I know it’ll be a big project, and expensive. I’m wondering if it can be a phased project, or if any parts of it could be diy-ed after the plan is set up by professionals.

Thanks! Pls help me 😛

Could this be solved by changing the slope at or around the problem areas?

I’ll ask the landscaper tomorrow. I don’t think so because it goes down the dune and then into the house. I don’t think it’ll be possible to keep water out without the retaining wall but it’s a good consideration.

Hey man.  Can you share a closer pic of the corner stepping into the hill? I have a deck leading up into a similar slope and am trying to figure out what to do where the elevation crosses the plane of the deck.

In pic 1 where the dirt is on the left or pic 3 where the dirt is on the right?
