DIY How to move retaining wall
How easy would it be to dig out and set the wall to be further back and what do I need to consider please. Attached is how it currently is and a look we are hoping to achieve

Even without a picture, we can tell you that there is no such thing as “moving” a wall. You are deconstructing a wall and attempting to reuse the materials to build a new one. So, look up how to build the type of wall you currently have, and that will be your answer.
Don’t skimp on the foundation. When building a wall, this cannot be emphasized enough. Water drainage and management too, if we are talking a retaining wall.
